Child: Look, the Winter Olympics mascots.

寶寶：看，冬奧會吉祥物。

Mom: Yeah, you know their difference?

Bing Dwen Dwen is the mascot of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics,

冰墩墩是北京2022冬季奧運會的吉祥物，

and Shuey Rhon Rhon is the mascot of the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.

雪容融是北京2022冬殘奧會的吉祥物。

Child: I see. When we get home, can we watch some games?

寶寶：明白了。咱們回家以后能看比賽嗎？

Mom: Sure!

媽媽：當然！

Curling is a strategic sport in which players throw curling stones on ice.

Child: This is kind of slow.

Mom: Yes, but its full of excitement and suspense once you get to know the rules.

? Luge, bobsleigh, and skeleton

Mom: Lets watch some sliding sports – luge, bobsleigh, and skeleton.

Child: Cool, they are like sliding down a big slide.

Nordic combined includes ski jumping and cross-country skiing

Biathlon, also known as "war on snow,"

冬季兩項又稱“雪地上的戰爭”，

is a sport that combines cross-country skiing and shooting.

是將越野滑雪和射擊結合在一起的運動。

Child: Good, I think Ive watched enough TV.

寶寶：很好，我想我已經看了不少電視了。

Can you take me to the rink today?

Mom: Sure thing!

媽媽：當然！
