實(shí)際上

把“洗衣服”翻譯成“wash clothes”本身沒(méi)錯(cuò)

這個(gè)表達(dá)強(qiáng)調(diào)的是“手洗”

而且含有沖洗的感覺(jué)

但歐美人確實(shí)比較少說(shuō)wash clothes

而是用一個(gè)專(zhuān)門(mén)的短語(yǔ)：do the laundry

強(qiáng)調(diào)的是“用洗衣機(jī)洗衣服”

或者到“洗衣店洗衣服”

因?yàn)闅W美比較發(fā)達(dá)

洗衣機(jī)早已家家普及

洗衣店也到處都是

他們可能早就忘了“手洗-wash”這回事

所以說(shuō)到洗衣服

脫口而出的就是“do the laundry”

但是沒(méi)有洗衣機(jī)的時(shí)候

說(shuō)wash clothes也沒(méi)啥問(wèn)題

人家一樣能聽(tīng)懂

還可以說(shuō) do the washing

手洗和機(jī)器洗衣服都通用~

對(duì)話示例：

A: Did you do the laundry?

B: Yes, I did.

A: What did you wash?

B: I washed the sheets and towels.

A: What about the pillowcases?

B: Yes, I took them off the pillows and washed them too.

A：你有沒(méi)有把你的臟衣服都洗了呀？

B：是的，我已經(jīng)洗過(guò)了。

A：你洗了什么？

B：我洗了床單和毛巾。

A：那你有沒(méi)有洗枕套??？

B：恩，我把它們從枕頭上拿下來(lái)洗了。

02.洗碗≠wash the dishes

do the dishes 洗碗

dish: 盤(pán)子，碗，碟子

Since you cooked,

I’ll clear the table and do the dishes.

既然你做飯了，

那我就收拾桌子洗碗吧。

（clear the table 收拾桌子）

注意：

洗碗不用wash,

但 洗碗機(jī)的確是Dishwasher噢！

03.洗澡≠wash body

wash body表面上看沒(méi)啥問(wèn)題

洗身體嘛……

但是西方人并不這么說(shuō)

一般用下面這兩個(gè)：

take/have a shower 洗澡

shower [?a??] 淋浴

或者是

take/have a bath

bath [bɑ?θ] 沐浴

I always have a shower

after getting up.

起床后我會(huì)洗個(gè)澡。
