一、陳述句的概念

陳述句是陳述一個事實或者說話人的看法。它包括肯定句和否定句兩種。陳述句在書寫時句末用句號，而在朗讀時則用降調。如：

I’m a student. I like dogs. I’m not a teacher.

二、陳述句的句子結構以及用法

陳述句可分為“肯定陳述句”和“否定陳述句”兩種，簡稱為肯定句和否定句。

1、肯定句

在英語中，一般情況下，肯定句的基本結構為：主 謂 其他，例如：

主語一般包括人稱代詞或名詞：I ,you, he ,she, dog, cat, some books等.

物主代詞：this, that, 等。

謂語一般就是動詞：be動詞：is, are, am

助動詞：do, does

行為動詞：like, eat 等

Eg. Mr. Walker is an Englishman. 華克先生是英國人?！　?I am a tall boy. 我是一個高的男孩。

He does his homework. 他做他的作業。

2、否定句

否定句的基本形式包括以下兩種：

（1）在系動詞am, is, are, 助動詞do, does, did，及情態動詞will, would，can, could, may, might, shall, should, must等后面加上“not”。例如：

①句子中有be動詞, 后直接加not，例如： 　　Eg. I am not (I’m not) a good swimmer. 我不是一個游泳的好手。　　 He is not (isn’t) a doctor. 　他不是一個醫生

It is not (isnt) raining outside. 外面沒有在下雨。

②情態動詞will, would，can, could, may, might, shall, should, must后面加上“not”。例如： 　 Eg. 　 I wont do it again. 我不再做這種事。 　　 The old man cannot find his way home. 那個老人找不到回家的路?！　?I couldnt sleep last night. 昨夜我無法入睡。

③使用助動詞“do”的否定句 　　 一般動詞的否定句通常使用助動詞“do”，句式如下：do（does, did） not V（原形動詞）。

肯定句、否定句的互換：

非單三時用do, 單三時用does

主語非單三時肯定句：I like

主語非單三時否定句：I do not like English.

主語單三時肯定句：He likes English.

主語單三時否定句：He does not like English.

Eg. I dont know her very well. 我并不很了解她?！　?He doesnt like Chinese tea very much. 他并不很喜歡中國茶?！　?She didnt come to school this morning. 今天早上她沒有來上學。 　　 Dont believe him. 不要相信他的話。

小口訣：

（2）使用“not”以外的否定詞

①使用副詞：never，seldom，hardly，little，neither等。

Eg. She never comes to school late. 她上學從不遲到。

She seldom comes to see me. 她不常來看我。

②使用形容詞：no, few, little等。

Eg. I have no brothers. (=I don’t have brothers. ) 我沒有兄弟。

He has few friends in Hong Kong. 他在香港幾乎沒有朋友。

③使用代詞：nothing，nobody, none等。

Eg. I know nothing about computer. 對于電腦我一竅不通。

I found nobody in that house. 在那棟房子里我沒看到任何人。

小貼士

特殊（肯定句與否定句互換詞）：

1.some變為any

　　There are some birds in the tree.→There arent any birds in the tree.

　　但是，若在表示請邀請、請求的句子中，some可以不變。

　　Would you like some orange juice?

　　與此相關的一些不定代詞如something, somebody等也要進行相應變化。

2.and變為or

　　I have a knife and a ruler.→I dont have a knife or a ruler.

3.a lot of (=lots of)變為many或much

　　They have a lot of friends.（可數名詞）→They dont have many friends.

　　There is lots of orange in the bottle.（不可數名詞）

　　→There isnt much orange in the bottle.

4.already變為yet

I have been there already. →I havent been there yet.
