近日，一篇《注意！這些字詞的拼音被改了！》文章刷屏網絡，引發熱議。文中舉了各種讀音改變的例子，尤其是不少人在上學時候的“規范讀音”，現如今竟悄悄變成了“錯誤讀音”。這其中包括不少古詩文中的名句。而原本的“錯誤讀音”，卻“轉正”了。

An article named "Chinese characters whose pronunciations have changed" has swept across China’s social media platforms and triggered a lot of discussion recently. The article claims that the way some Chinese characters are pronounced have been changed, including the characters in some well-known sentences from ancient poems. The pronunciations which were considered to have been misread in the past are now the officially deemed correct.

最知名的莫過于這三句：

“少小離家老大回，鄉音無改鬢毛衰（shuāi，原cuī）。”

“遠上寒山石徑斜（xié，原xiá），白云生處有人家。”

“一騎（qí，原jì）紅塵妃子笑，無人知是荔枝來。”

更有人拿出教材來做印證，比如人教版語文課本2001年版二年級上冊中對“斜”注音為xié。

除了古詩詞，也有網友發現現代漢語詞匯的拼音也有修改。

由中國社會科學院語言學研究所編纂，商務印書館印制的第五版和第六版《現代漢語詞典》中，不少漢字標音已經變了。

According to the fifth and sixth edition of Modern Chinese Dictionary, edited by the Institute of Linguistics in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and published by the Commercial Press, quite a few pinyin of Chinese characters have already been changed.

網友徹底蒙圈兒，難道這錯的讀音讀多了，就成了對的了？很過網友認為，修改后，有些字音不再押韻，破壞詩文美感。

Many Chinese netizens said altering pronunciations would change the rhyme of the sentences in poems, ruining the beauty of Chinese literature.

大家也由此聯想到了“文盲式遷就”↓

在追根溯源后，網友發現早在2016年，教育部就公布了《普通話異讀問審音表（修訂稿）》的征求公告。

Due to the joint efforts of experts from different areas, the revised draft of variant pronunciation in Mandarin was drawn in three years. Later, it was released online by Ministry of Education in order to seek public response from June 6 to 25 in 2016.

這……原來真的不是瞎改的？

不過，教育部語言文字應用研究所漢字拼音研究室的回應來得也快：還沒改！

回應中表示，網上大部分流傳的內容來自國家語委一個征求意見稿，而這個征求意見稿至今尚未正式發布。今后正式發布的“審音表”應該不完全和“征求意見稿”一樣。目前所有讀音應該繼續遵循原有的普通話審音表。

An official from the Ministry of Education later responded that most of the so called new pronunciations of Chinese online have not yet been confirmed.

不過，也有網友表示，語言在發展進步，讀音也應該適應社會變遷，適應大多數人發音，而非一味守舊。

Supporters believe this is how language advances, and the pronunciations should adapt to the need of society, and follow the pronunciation read by most people, rather than remain in the past.

那么，對于這一問題，專家又有何解讀？

北京大學中文系教授張頤武表示，語言并非一成不變，也隨著社會發生變化。現在的讀音與過去有很大不同。

"Language is not something immutable. It follows the changes in society. Our current pronunciations differ greatly from those of the past."

“詞匯的發音，也是在使用語言時約定俗成。從這個角度而言，現在的讀音的確有些過時了，因為發音是在不斷變化的。”

"The pronunciation of words, and their meanings, are conventions among those using the language — From this point of view, peoples current pronunciation is actually a bit old-fashioned as pronunciations are in a constant state of change."

“而實際上，現在很多詞匯的發音，也和古時不同了。在某種程度上，讀音要在最流行的版本與歷史最悠久的版本中做出選擇。”

"Actually, many of words today are not pronounced exactly the same as they were in ancient times. In some sense, pronunciation is a choice between the most popular version and the version with the longest history."

對于這次爭議，澎湃新聞專訪了華東師范大學中國語言文學系副教授、上海語文教育教學研究基地副主任徐默凡。他表示，對于異讀詞的發音，既要考慮到時代、作品的不同，閱讀古代作品時不能完全迎合大眾。又要兼顧到讀音的變化，對于現在那些廣為接受或通行的讀音應予以承認。
