今天來學(xué)習(xí)英語的句子，它分為三類：簡單句(Simple Sentence)、并列句(compound Sentence)和復(fù)合句(Complex Sentence)。

簡單句分為三種：

第一種是主語加謂語。如：

My canary sings.我的金絲雀唱歌。

第二種是并列主語加謂語。如：

My canary and the mockingbird outside sings.

我的金絲雀和外面的藍嘲鶇唱歌。

第三種是主語加并列謂語。如：

My canary sings and chirps.

我的金絲雀唱歌和嘰嘰喳喳叫。

并列句

由并列連詞連接兩個句子。如：

My canary sings, but your parrot talks. （由連詞but連接兩個句子）

我的金絲雀唱歌，但是你的鸚鵡說話。

再來看一個例子：

Jake rode his bike, but Matt walked.

由連詞but連接兩個句子。前面的句子是Jake rode his bike；后面的句子是 Matt walked。

Matt ate pancakes, and he ate bacon.

由連詞and連接兩個句子。前面的句子是Matt ate pancakes；后面的句子是 he ate bacon。

并列句練習(xí)

將圖中的兩個簡單句變?yōu)橐粋€并列句。

解題思路：

簡單句

I like pizza.我喜歡比薩。

I like spaghetti.我喜歡意大利面。

可以看出，這兩個相同的地方是I like，后面的兩個詞都是食物，所以我們可以把兩句話變?yōu)椋?/p>

I like pizza and spaghetti.

但這句話不是并列句，但還是簡單句。

要變?yōu)椴⒘芯洌瑧?yīng)該是有兩個句子，即

I like pizza and I like spaghetti.

由連詞and連接兩個句子。

注意：

連接并列句的連詞包括and, but, for, nor, or, so, yet等。

簡單句：表達一個完整的想法；包括一個主語、謂語動詞和賓語。

如:Joe swam in the swimming pool.Joe在游泳池里游泳。

并列句：由連詞連接兩個簡單句。

連詞有：for, and, not, but, or, yet, so.

如:Joe swam in the swimming pool, and then ate lunch.Joe在游泳池里游泳，然后吃了午飯。

復(fù)合句

由主句和從句構(gòu)成，如：

Although my canary sings, your parrot can only talk.（由although連接兩個句子）

雖然我的金絲雀唱歌，但是你的鸚鵡只會說話。

despite the fact that your parrot talks,it cannot sing. （由despite連接兩個句子）

不管你的鸚鵡能說話這個事實，它不能唱歌。

練習(xí)：

下面句子屬于什么句子，簡單句、并列句還是復(fù)合句？

Since I wont be able to attend the party, Ill just send my gift with you.

I want my friend to sleep over, but my family has other plans.

第1個句子Since I wont be able to attend the party, Ill just send my gift with you.中有從屬連詞since，所以它是復(fù)合句complex。

第2個句子I want my friend to sleep over, but my family has other plans.中有并列連詞but，所以它是并列句compound。

并列復(fù)合句

Rufus loves Roxis because she is adorable, and she defers to him.

這個句子由并列連詞and連接兩個句子，但是and前一個句子中還有一個由because引導(dǎo)的原因狀語從句。
