有很多英語(yǔ)單詞，雖然長(zhǎng)得很像，但是意義往往卻截然不同，假如一個(gè)不小心用錯(cuò)的話，意思天差地別，往往會(huì)讓場(chǎng)面很尷尬。

1. Wild-mild

Wild：狂野的，荒無(wú)人煙的

When I told him what I’d done, he want wild.

他變得狂怒，當(dāng)我告訴他我做了什么之后。

Mild：溫柔的，輕微的

She can’t accept even mild criticism of her work.

她甚至不能接受對(duì)工作的輕微批評(píng)。

2. Feast-fast

Feast：大吃大喝

They feasted for three days in celebration.

為了慶祝他們大吃大喝了三天。

Fast:禁食（很多人不知道這個(gè)意思）

One day a week he fasts for health reason。

他一個(gè)星期會(huì)禁食一天。

3. Weary-wary

Weary：疲倦的

He look pale and weary.

他看起來(lái)臉色蒼白，疲憊不堪。

Wary：警惕的

We certainly need to be a little wary here.

我們確實(shí)需要一點(diǎn)謹(jǐn)慎。

4. Fight-flight

Fight：戰(zhàn)斗

There were children fighting in the playground.

曾有小孩在操場(chǎng)打架。

Flight：逃跑

They lost all their possessions during their flight from the invading army.

侵略的軍隊(duì)讓他們失去了所有的財(cái)物。

5. Adore-abhor

Adore：愛慕

She adore her parents.

她很愛她的父母。

Abhor:憎恨

I abhor all forms of racism.

我痛恨所有形式的種族歧視。
